Hello Everyone!!!!
There have been some significant changes to our club this year. The U16 girls had to move to another club so they could play at the select level. This was necessary for them to be eligible to play at the high school level. A portion of our U10 girls also moved to another club so they could play at the select level.
Due to these changes, we will need to receive registration information from everyone by the end of June and have teams formed by the first week in July.
Our goal is to ensure that all players have a team. If we are unable to field a team for a particular age group within our club we are trying to work with the Rancho Club to ensure all players will have a team.
Registration Information: Early Registration is $70 – 1st player and $65 for each additional player. Uniforms are $45 for a complete uniform and $30 for a shirt only.
Registration forms are included. These forms must be completed in duplicate for each player and signed in red or blue ink. If you need additional forms they are available via the website at sjvsc.com or from Kathy Barros.
MLS Camp: Our club is sponsoring an MLS Soccer Camp this season. The camp will take place the first week of August 2009. (See the attached flyer for more details.)
Fund Raising News: We are continuing with our Strawhat Pizza fund raisers which will occur on the 2nd Tuesday of June, August, October and November. Your participation is greatly appreciated as this really helps the club cover its operating costs.
Coaching News: ARYSL is requiring that all coaches have a CYSA-North “F” license and all coaches must be finger printed through ARYSL prior to the start of the season. Please check the website or e-mail Brian Danzl (bdanzl@sjvsc.com) for more information.
